AC SEPARATION

He got up early for a bike ride.  He decided to ride North Canyon Trail to continue his preparation for the White Rim Bike Trip he would be joining the following week.  His time finishing the trail was earlier than his last ride and he was feeling good.  As he rode down Canyon Creek Drive to come home he felt his front tire "squish."  He looked down, noticed he was going 40 mph and over the handlebars he flew.  He landed on the asphalt with road rash on his ankle, hip, arm, shoulder and hand.  On top of that a grade 4 AC separation (pictured above).  Although he insists that he isn't selling his bike, he will be taking an extended break, and sadly, missing a trip he really loves.
